Practice English and Hindi typing online
Typing tests are part of many recruitment exams — SSC, court and office assistant posts, stenographer exams and state-level clerical exams. TET Test Hub's typing practice lets you prepare in the same formats: English, Hindi Unicode (Inscript or phonetic), Mangal and Krutidev. Every test shows your WPM, net and gross speed, CPM, accuracy and errors, so you know exactly what to improve.
Speed grows with short, regular practice. Ten to fifteen minutes a day, with attention to accuracy first, works better than one long session a week.
How is WPM calculated?
Every 5 characters (including spaces) count as one word. WPM = correct characters ÷ 5 ÷ minutes. Gross WPM uses all typed characters; Net WPM subtracts one word per minute for every uncorrected error.
Can I practise Hindi typing on my phone?
Yes. For Hindi Unicode and Mangal, switch your phone keyboard to Hindi (for example Gboard Hindi). For Krutidev, keep the keyboard in English mode — Krutidev is typed with English keys.
What is the difference between Mangal and Krutidev?
Mangal is a Unicode font: the text is real Hindi that works everywhere. Krutidev is an older non-Unicode font that draws Hindi letters on English keys, and it is still used in many typing exams. Choose the one your exam asks for.
